Jet Spots, Our Male Brown Spotted Bengal

We are proud to present our male Bengal called Jet. Jet's pedigree name is Mountaincat Cardamon and Jet was born on November 4, 1999. His father is Mountain Maestro, an imported US stud from Gogees and holder of ten merits. His mother is Yingmo Pela, a fabulous Bengal Queen with a lovely temperament that Jet has inherited.

Jet, a Brown Spotted Bengal has the most strikingly clear pale gold pelt with lovely random huge rich black spots, fantastic conformation and contrast with a very wild head type, and lots of glitter with intense yellow green eyes. He also has a very loving and affectionate temperament. He is always looking for a cuddle or a lap to sleep on.

Not only is Jet a stunning and beautiful large boy, but he is also head cat of our household. He adores his human family and his feline sister, Amber and will not be separated from any of us. Jet often sleeps on my pillow on my shoulder through the night watching over me. He has provided us with much joy, love and companionship since his arrival and has quickly taken over our hearts and our home.

Jet and his sister, Amber were bred by Claire Irvine of Mountaincat Bengals who sadly is no longer with us. The first thing I noticed about Claire was her enthusiasm and love of her Bengal cats. Her enthusiasm was catching because we chose two Bengal kittens from her litter to share our home. Although we did not know Claire for long, she became a close friend. We miss her very much especially her advice, support and long chats we had together about cats.

Below we've have put together some lovely photos of Jet so that you can have the chance to get to know him better. We hope that you will enjoy them! We will keep this page updated with new photos of Jet so bookmark this page now so you won't miss the latest photos. You can also see more photos of Jet on our gallery pages.

Jet playing with his new found toyJet loves nothing better than to play. Here, Jet is playing with a piece of string from a paper bag. Jet also likes to investigate every corner of our home looking out for new possible toys. Jet has many lovely toys, but he still likes to choose his own from our household items. My lipstick is another favourite item that Jet loves to play with. Can you believe he actually takes it out of my handbag himself!
Jet enjoying the warmth of the sunJet likes lounging in the sun always choosing a warm spot by a sunny window. His coat just absolutely sparkles in the sunshine. This is one of his favourite sleeping places on my kitchen windowsill.
Jet loves showing off his spotted belly and spends much of his time upside down on his back trying to catch my attention like in this photo. To our delight, He also likes to sleep on his back with his legs up in the air. This radiator cradle is another favourite place for Jet and he loves to spend some part of his day here sleeping with his sister. Jet showing off his spotted belly
Jet likes to spend time with us in our lounge. He likes to watch television with us or just relax and enjoy our company. This is his favourite place on the couch. I've recently discovered that Jet is a tennis fan. Jet loves to watch the tennis on the television and try to catch the tennis balls with his paws. He always looks so surprised when he realises that he can't actually catch them. We love Jet's company. Jet relaxing on the couch.
Jet stretching after a napThis is one of my favourite photos of Jet. He has just woken up from a nap. I had a camera near by and was able to catch him in this stretching position. He likes to do this to show off his lovely conformation and long body. Jet will be demanding his dinner now that he's woken up.
