Amber Star, Our Female Brown Spotted Bengal

We are proud to present our female Bengal called Amber. Amber's pedigree name is Mountaincat Spiced Nutmeg. Amber shares the same birth date with her brother, Jet on November 4, 1999. Her father is Mountain Maestro, an imported US stud from Gogees and holder of ten merits. Her mother is Yingmo Pela, a Bengal Queen with a gentle temperament that Amber has inherited.

Amber, a Brown Spotted Bengal has a very silky plushy pelted coat with a lovely horizontal pattern of black random spots, incredible glitter and contrast with fantastic conformation, head type and profile with enchanting yellow green eyes. She also has the sweetest of temperaments always so loving, gentle and affectionate.

Amber loves fuss and attention and wants to share every moment with us. She follows us around our home providing us with much joy and love since her arrival. She also adores her brother, Jet, staying by his side for most of the day, and like Jet has taken over our hearts and our home.

Amber like Jet was bred by Claire Irvine of Mountaincat Bengals who sadly is no longer with us. Claire loved her Bengals and was very dedicated to her cats. Although we did not know her for very long, she became a close friend. We miss her very much especially her advice, support and long chats we had together about cats.

Below we've have put together some lovely photos of Amber so that you can have the chance to get to know her better. We hope that you will enjoy them! We will keep this page updated regularly with new photos of Amber so bookmark this page now so you won't miss the latest photos. You can also see other photos of Amber at the gallery!

Michievous Amber investigating our palm tree.Amber loves our sunny south facing conservatory where she likes to look out of the sliding back doors onto our garden. Amber also likes to investigate our plants like in this photo. Amber is curious about everything in our home and here, she is very mischievous. Any second now, she will knock over our palm tree. Luckily, I am always ready to distract her with one of her favourite toys.
Amber sharing the top level of the activity post with JetAmber adores her feline brother, Jet. Amber spends many hours with Jet playing on their tall cat activity post. They always delight us with their many antics and games. Here, Amber wants to share the top level with Jet and she's not taking no for an answer.
Amber loves to climb up to high places. This is one of her favourite high places, the top of our refrigerator. Here she can watch everything that goes on around her waiting to join in just at the right moment especially our dinnertime. Amber is quite an acrobat and can climb up high just as easily as she can get down. Amber perched on a high place
Amber loves spending time with us in our main living room. She likes to lounge on top of the couch so that she can be near us. She also likes to choose what we watch on television by switching the stations with the remote control using her paws. We have spent many enjoyable evenings with Amber by our side. Agile Amber perched on my partner's armThis is one of my favourite pictures of Amber. She is perched on top of my partner Terry's arm. Amber is very agile and loves to climb up onto our arms and shoulders while purring her heart out. In the summer, this may be more difficult for us when we are wearing sleeveless clothing.
